Brewery Filtration

From grain to glass, clean.

Every air contact on a brewery line — from fermenter headspace to filling head — is a contamination event waiting to happen. We supply the filters that close every one of those gaps.

What's at stake

A wild yeast
ends a
brand.

Off-flavour · spoiled tank · recalled batch · a reputation that took decades to build.

Brewing is a sequence of gas-contact events from the moment the fermenter is pitched to the instant the keg, bottle or can is sealed. Fermentation air carries sterility. Recovered CO₂ carries particulate. Every tank-vent breathing cycle is a route for wild yeast and mould. The filling head is the last unprotected point before the consumer.

Ultrafilter supplies the brewery filtration line, from water to bottling: P-SRF borosilicate depth for yeast propagation sterile air, wort aeration and CO₂ carbonation gas; P-BE depth elements and PF-PT PTFE membrane elements for tank venting; PF-BEV PES double-layer 0.2 µm as the cold sterile final filter before the filler, with an optional second PF-BEV as the police filter safety net; and P-GS VE sintered stainless for culinary steam and SIP. Food-contact materials to EC 1935/2004 and FDA 21 CFR per product DoC. Every element ships with its datasheet and food-contact Declaration of Conformity; sterile elements also with integrity-test record and validation guide. Typically ships within 7 days from Hilden.
