Borosilicate depth filters for sterile gas. Sintered and pleated stainless for steam, hot gas and CIP-tolerant liquid. One audit-ready line — brewing, dairy, food and beverage.
P-SRF for sterile gas. P-BE for tank breathing. P-FF/P-MF/P-SMF for the coalescing pre-train. P-GS / P-SWM / P-SM for steam, hot gas and CIP-tolerant liquid.

Borosilicate depth filters for sterile gas in food and beverage: fermenter inlet air, sterile process air, aseptic packaging, tank venting. Four grades from baseline to nano.
Sterile vent for WFI, ingredient silos, balance and storage tanks. Splash protection on the housing.

Coalescing prefiltration upstream of P-SRF. Industrial Ultra Fibre rebuilt for high-temp process service.

Sintered and pleated stainless for saturated steam, hot process gas and CIP-tolerant liquid. Same elements, three duties.
Sintered SS 316L and pleated stainless aren't liquid-only. They're the right answer whenever polymer can't survive the chemistry, the temperature, or the steam cycle — including water at temperature, saturated steam to 210 °C, and aggressive process gas.

Welded contact-points hold pore size under load. Backflushable. Widest cut-off range — coarse to medium. Removes particles from aqueous solutions, water and other liquids, as well as gases.

Weldless filter pipe with sintered stainless 316L. Bonding material Plastic Steel; > 150 °C: welded end caps.

P-GS variant with welded end caps as standard and a smaller OD. Different housing fit — confirm OD before swapping.
3.7× P-GS surface area, double max DP. The high-pressure / high-flow option for hydraulic and deep-pull service.
| Duty | Why stainless wins | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Saturated steam to 210 °C | Polymer hardware embrittles after >100 cycles · stainless doesn't | P-GS welded |
| Hot process gas (NH₃, CO₂, distillate) | Aggressive chemistry dissolves polymer media · 316L is inert to acids, alkalis, solvents | P-GS · P-GS VE |
| CIP returns · hot caustic · hot acid | Cleaning cycles destroy organic membranes · stainless mesh is field-regenerable in line | P-SM · P-GS |
| Hot water · ingredient water · chilled water | SS won't hydrolyse, won't shed fibres, won't taint product · widest cut-off range with P-SM | P-SM (1–250 µm) |
| High-pressure liquid · hydraulic transfer | Pleated SS holds 10 bar DP — twice the standard sintered limit | P-SWM |
| Heavy-load liquid · regeneration economics | Mesh handles backflush better than depth media · saves cartridge waste stream | P-SM mesh |
P-SM, P-GS, P-GS VE and P-SWM are listed here under "steam" and again on the liquid filtration page. Same parts, different application angle — pick the page that matches your duty cycle.
All variants share borosilicate depth media, SS 304 cores and silicone bonding. P-SRF-N: in-line steam (slow-speed saturated) max. 121 °C for 30 minutes, 131 °C for 20 minutes or 141 °C for 10 minutes.
| Variant | Construction | Retention rate | Cycles | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| P-SRF | Wound depth filter | 99.99998% @ 0.2 µm | min. 100 sterilisation cycles | Baseline sterile · brewing · F&B fermentation |
| P-SRF-N | Pleated depth filter | 99.99998 % @ 0.2 µm | min. 100 in-line steam cycles | High-flow · aseptic packaging |
| P-SRF-CU | Pleated + PTFE impregnation | 99.999999991 % @ 0.003 µm | min. 100 in-line · min. 200 autoclave | Nano-particle retention |
| P-SRF-VU | Pleated + PTFE impregnation | 99.999999991 % @ 0.003 µm | min. 100 in-line · min. 200 autoclave | Same retention and cycles as P-SRF-CU |
